New for 2024, we're adding after-school, weekly workshops!

With new themes each month, students can practice and improve their pottery skills with different functional pottery projects every month. And because all after-school workshops are all-abilities, students can  jump in for the first time, any month.

Workshops meet on the same day of the week for a month, from 3:30pm-5:15pm at Terracotta Pullman.

Here's what's happening at Terracotta for our kids and tweens, Spring 2024:

April 1, 15, 22, 29

Potters of all ages will create a unique, funky and functional desk set that sparks joy and conversations, just in time to gift for Mothers Day and Fathers Day! Potters will already create a candle vessel and select and pour a candle of their choice into it on the last day of class.

Using our studio slab roller and selection of hundreds of textures, potters will select a theme and incorporate it into one-of-a-kind, personalized pottery pieces like:

April 1: Business Card Holders and paperclip dishes

April 15: Candle vessels and pen holders

April 22: Phone Holders and glazing the candle vessels.

April 29: Glazing the rest of the pottery and taking the candle vessels to The Gathering Place to select and pour a candle into, included!

Potters will receive enough clay and materials to make at least two of each type of project, so they can select their favorites to finish, or complete multiples as gifts.

Pottery and candles will be ready to take home Monday, May 6, just in time for Mothers Day!
