Studio Information & Hours

We’re so excited you want to come spend time in the studio!

Hours: As a small, new space, all studio time is by appointment and by seat. The more bookings we receive, the more days, hours and options we are able to offer. Thank you for investing in our creative community and helping us grow!

Please book your studio sessions through our website a week or more ahead of time so we can be best staffed to assist you and your creative journey. We are not able to facilitate walk-ins at this time, only drop-ins to continue work on pottery that’s already in-process.

We are open for glazing and pottery pick-up Monday through Friday from 4-8 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. You can also pick up your pottery by booking additional time at our studio.

Seating: Our Mission at Terracotta is to Create Community through Creative Spaces. Our studio is set up to encourage people to connect authentically through clay and other mediums, share space, supplies, and stories. This means you will likely get to sit with friends you haven’t met yet, or didn’t come with.

Our studio has four tables, and each table has different seating to best accommodate different body types and needs.

Our approach to seating is the opposite of a restaurant-- so if you want to sit with specific folks, plan to arrive together, early.

Food/Drinks: We aren’t big on rules, but we are big on this: We strive to be inclusive and a safe space for folks with food allergies. As a community studio there is significant sharing of equipment, tools and space. We do not allow food from outside our studio into the space, and we ask that everyone wash their hands as soon as they arrive.

For birthday parties, we take care of catering with specific attention and care for allergies by supporting our local Sugar Babe Bakery with custom cupcake orders. Sugar Babe specializes in vegan and allergy-friendly treats.

For other private events, please work directly with the studio at least two weeks ahead of time to discuss food and drink options that align with our commitment to being a food-allergy safe space: info@terracottapullman.com

Kiddos: In the interest of keeping the space staffed appropriately for our community’s varied needs, kiddos are welcome in the studio during Littles & Folks classes on the weekend, All-Ages Classes and time slots during the week and weekend, and kids 10-and-up are welcome to participate in our Tween Camps.

When booking for a child under 12, please be sure to book at least two seats (one for the child and one for an adult to accompany that child). We are a small studio and don’t yet have overflow space.
