Kate Watts

Kate Watts
Kate Watts is a local landscape photographer, knitter, and potter. Because Kate grew up in a small, rural town, access to the arts was often limited, but thanks to 4-H and a problem-solving high school teacher, Kate had the opportunity to explore many mediums, including clay.

As an undergrad at UI, Kate took classes in drawing, visual design, painting, and photography. When Terracotta opened, Kate eagerly returned to pottery. She hopes that this workshop provides a moment to reflect on the changing seasons and nature, to connect with others, and to explore your creativity.
