Hailey Black

Hailey is the defending champion of Terracotta Pullman’s Summer Pottery Throwdowns and we are thrilled that she  is now going to teach wheel at Terracotta, too! Hailey loves the hands-on nature of clay, and the process of making art out of the earth. She believes there is an inherent beauty to using mud to create something that didn’t exist before. That’s what she hopes to share with her students in the studio. While building skills and technique is also important to Hailey in her classes, she wants students to feel present and enjoy their time in the studio as they get to partake in one of the oldest art forms in the history of humanity.
