WSU Family Weekend: Mugs!

Make some memories (and pottery!) during our Family Weekend studio days!

You can’t always hug your folks when you’re away at school, but you can make mugs with them—and hold each others’ hands when you hold the handle they made. In this workshop, admission grants one seat for an artist to get enough pre-slabbed clay to create two mugs, That’s one to keep and one to give to your family member to use when you’re away. Select a texture or five from more than 585 custom and hand-carved textures in the studio, or sculpt a face or pet or name. In three weeks you could be using your new favorite mug to drink coffee and tea, or let’s be real, eat cereal.

Mugs are ready to glaze two weeks after creating, and ready to take home and use one week after that.
