What's better than fresh berries? Gathering, rinsing and eating them out of a custom bowl you made, obviously.
In this workshop artists of all ages and abilities will work with our gentle PNW stoneware clay and beginner-friendly slab-building and slumping techniques to form a functional bowl with holes.
How you use it is up to you:
A colander for draining pasta
A berry bowl for rinsing and snacking on small fruit
A truly terrible soup vessel
An orchid planter
You will learn how to customize your pottery with decorative cut-outs and add whimsical, sculptural details --like gnomes or hedgehogs or vines and flowers for handles--whatever makes your creation truly yours.

Berry bowls are food-safe and dishwasher-safe. All materials, tools, clay, firing and dip-glazing included in the price of this workshop. Pottery is ready to glaze about three weeks after creating/class. Pottery painting glaze is also possible with an additional booking. All ages and abilities welcome and celebrated.
