We're making Gourd-geous handmade mugs in the studios this autumn
In this all-abilities workshop, you will improve on your mug-making skills from Mug Mondays to create two pumpkin mugs, starting with a large slab-built mug, then carving and smoothing indentations into the sides, and finally adding a twisty handle inspired by pumpkin stems. Ambitious artists can add faces, textures and other carvings on top of their pumpkins as well.
This workshop is appropriate for all ages and abilities. Kids under 10 should attend with a paying adult to assist and support them. No prior experience expected, although prior Mug Monday participation will result in happier pumpkins.
