Halloween decor from a big box store? Absolutely not. This is your haunted village era, and it starts with your own two (slightly clay-covered) hands.
In this just-expanded 4-hour workshop, you'll sculpt a mini haunted house — or three, because overachieving is encouraged — that can pull double or triple duty as a candle luminary, incense holder with a working chimney (yes, really, it's our favorite), fairy garden centerpiece, or the creepiest-cutest addition to your holiday village. Ghosts of Christmas Past? YES.
Buildings range from 2" × 2" to 5" × 5", depending on how ambitious your spirit(s) are.
We supply the good stuff:
- Textures galore — brick, planks, siding, shingles, and more
- Templates for sides, roofs, doors, and windows (because eyeballing it is brave)
- Tools, clay, and a room full of people who are equally committed to tiny architecture
Feeling extra? Bring your own inspiration, tools, or materials — and add miniature stepping stones, a garden path, itty-bitty gargoyles, or pint-sized furniture to your scene. No one will stop you. We might even applaud.
All skill levels welcome. Ages 8 and up. Kids under 10 should bring an adult along — both for supervision and because adults definitely love this just as much as the kids do (scientifically proven).
All firing and dip-glazing included. Want to paint it too? Book a separate pottery painting session for that next-level finish.
Please be prompt: Due to the cozy, shared nature of our studio, we can't hold unclaimed work indefinitely. Pottery unclaimed within three months becomes studio property and may be rehomed to someone who truly appreciates it. Pick up your tiny haunted house. It deserves to haunt your mantle.
