This mid-week pottery wheel class is designed specifically for homeschool students who learn best by doing — and there's nothing quite like feeling a lump of clay transform into a real, functional piece of pottery right in your hands. Five weeks long.
What students will make:
Students choose their own projects each week, guided by their instructor. Beginner-friendly options include:
Bud vases and small bowls
Yunomi-style tea cups
Spoon rests and soap dishes
Matching mug sets (for the ambitious ones!)
What's included:
All clay, glazing, and firing
Equipment and studio time
Small class size — maximum 5 students
Take-home finished pieces
Who it's for:
Homeschool students ages 8–14. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy. This class counts beautifully toward fine arts enrichment in your homeschool curriculum.
