We’ll start with a table of cookies to snack on while we transform slip-cast ceramic cookie jars into your new favorite and functional holiday item. Sprig molds create little clay decorations to attach to the jar for raised details and texture. We’ll show you how to make and apply them and walk you through painting and glazing techniques as you work.

We have hundreds of sprig molds to pick from.

Santa face? Check.

Snowmen? Christmas Trees?  Check Check.

Gremlins? The best Christmas story of all time? ALSO CHECK.

Because these jars are slip-cast, they only have to go through the kiln one more time before you can take them home. Your cookie jar will be ready to pick up, take home, and fill with cookies one week after this workshop.

Keep it for your own kitchen or give it to someone whose baking you’d like to encourage. A little self-interest is perfectly acceptable in holiday gift-giving.

Someday your family might argue over who gets the cookie jar. Until then, they can argue over who ate the last cookie.
