Ceramic Harvest Baskets -- Moscow
Ceramic Harvest Baskets -- Moscow
Weave the perfect little Harvest Baskets, then re-purpose them for bread, Easter and more throughout the year.
Price includes all materials, equipment, instruction, firing and dip-glazing.
In this small, one-day workshop, students learn to use our studio extruders to create ribbons of clay, and then weave the clay ribbons around forms. Baskets can then be further customized with sculptural elements, handles, and more.
Finished baskets will be about half the size of a dinner plate. Larger baskets are possible with practice--sign up for multiple classes if this is your goal.
Makers return to glaze their pottery 2+ weeks after the workshop. Once glazed, this fun and functional basket is food safe, and able to be used in the oven to keep rolls and muffins warm, put through the dishwasher or microwave.
Price: $65 per seat, or $120 for two
