Sunday, Nov. 16: In this workshop, we'll create a itty-bitty-kitty tea charms--they're like wine charms, but for tea infuser balls (included!)
Tuesday, Dec. 16: We're creating kitschy kitty spoon rests! Food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe (but why, tho?). We will utilize pre-thrown, leather-hard spoon rests and spend our time customizing them with carving and sculptural details. All abilities welcome and celebrated. This kitty will be ready when school starts again in January.
Pottery is ready to glaze about two weeks after creating, and ready to take with you one week after that, unless otherwise noted. Pottery drying times and firing times are weather-dependent, and change seasonally. Pottery dries and is fired much faster in July than November.
Images are examples of the types of projects you can create in this workshop. As these are hand made art forms, each piece of pottery will be unique and though some may be similar, differences are expected due to the natural materials and handmade nature of the work.
