90s Art Night: All That and a Lump of Clay

It's giving nostalgia. It's giving clay. It's giving you something to do on a Thursday night that isn't doom-scrolling. 

Break out your scrunchie and dust off your best flannel, because we're throwing it back to the decade that gave us Lisa Frank, friendship bracelets, and the unwavering belief that everything looked better in neon. Welcome to 90s Art Night at Terracotta — an evening of clay, Capri Suns, and cool beans.

Using slabbing, sculpting, and stamping techniques, you'll create pottery inspired by the greatest decade in recorded history. Think:

• Muppets. Trolls. That fancy letter S we couldn't stop drawing.
• Smiley faces (the ironic kind)
• Peace signs and stars
• Retro geometric patterns
• Whatever you saw on a Limited Too shopping bag once and never forgot

Pinch pots, tiles, mini dishes, or a full-on sculptural masterpiece — the clay is yours and the 90s are your mood board. Our instructors will guide you through every step, so whether you're a seasoned potter or someone who peaked creatively in a middle school art class (we see you, we respect you), you will absolutely leave with something you're proud of.

What's included:

• All clay, tools, and materials
• Expert instruction and 90s playlist — non-negotiable
• Dip glazing session included (~2–3 weeks after creating)
• Firing and pickup at the studio

All ages and all abilities welcome. We suggest ages 8 and up. Kids under 10 should bring an adult — who will, statistically, have more fun than the kid. Costumes encouraged. Walkmans optional but iconic.

Seats are limited and this one will sell out faster than a Ticketmaster queue for a Backstreet Boys reunion. Don't sleep on it. 🎨✌️
