8-Week Wheel Class
8-Week Wheel Class
Only five seats per class!
This fall, we’re inviting you to slow down and make something real.
Our 8-Week Pottery Wheel Class is back — and if you’ve been waiting for the right moment to finally try the wheel, or get back on it, this is it.
What you’ll learn:
• Weeks 1–2: Centering and opening — the foundation of everything. You will begin pulling walls and making your first cylinders, including a small planter. From here, the clay--and world--opens up.
• Week 3-4: You will practice finishing skills, including trimming, handle pulling, and surface decoration, while also throwing new projects each week.
• Weeks 5–6: Move beyond basic bowls and learn to throw a jar, teapot, ramen bowls, mugs, and your own style
• Weeks 7–8: You will learn about glaze strategies and science, and practice layering dip and brush-on cone 6 glazes for different effects. You will also get to continue taking the wheels for a spin, trying new projects or perfecting previous ones.
By the end, you’ll have a collection of functional pieces you actually made — mugs, bowls, vases — fired and ready to take home.
No experience needed. Just curiosity.
All materials included. Small class size. Big results.
