Story of Terracotta on The Moth!
We are SO EXCITED to finally be able to share that Terracotta Founder, Candace Baltz, will be one of ten true story tellers at The Moth Grand Slam Championship on May 29 in Seattle. The Moth is a public radio show, podcast and non-profit that seeks to build community through the art and craft of true story telling.
To be invited to The Moth's Grand Slam stage, story tellers must first win a Moth Story Slam, as one of ten randomly selected story tellers of that night (chosen out of a hat!). Moth stories are told without any notes or aids.
Here is the story that won the Moth Story Slam in April 2025, and got Candace invited to be featured on The Moth Grand Slam Championship stage spring 2026.
