Dec. 9, 2012: Terracotta Mid-December Newsletter

Every booking and sale helps us expand our hours and offerings—and we’re up to seven days a week now! WOW! And also—we really need a hot water heater. So check out the ways you can help us get warm water in the studio—and get a discount on having fun in the studio, too!

Just two days left to create pottery in time for Christmas giving, friends! Just want to be creative and its ok if the pottery is complete in 2023? We got you, too. See below.

Last Chances to Make for Christmas:

  • We have a few all-ages Custom Gnome workshops on Saturday (Dec. 10) and Sunday, with a couple seats left:

    • Saturday gnomes: 9 a.m., one at 6:30 p.m.

    • Sunday gnomes: 1 p.m.

  • Our last Custom Ornament workshop is Dec. 11 at 4 p.m.—and ornaments made in this workshop will be ready to glaze by Dec. 17, and take home by Dec. 24. This is an all-ages workshop.

  • There’s four seats left in our Mug Workshop Monday, Dec. 12, so we added a second mug workshop for Dec. 19, and almost every Monday in January!

Buy, Give Local, Support Local:

  • There’s still a few seats in our Winter Clay Camps for the tweens in your life—but hurry! Santa told us this is on *a lot* of wish lists this year.

  • We just added daily Beginner Wheel Orientation Classes from mid-December through the first week of January!

  • We just added more Littles & Folks classes featuring Chonky scultptures—on Thursdays now, too!

  • Just want to paint/glaze this December? We got you. We have a few seats left for Ready-Made Glaze Days on Monday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Inventory is limited and first come, first pick. This is a December-only offering and we will get back to making you make your own things on Jan. 1.

  • Need something one-of-a-kind, quirky, funny, beautiful and fast? Ready-to-Wrap handmade ornaments are on our studio tree and available for purchase: $25 each; or 3 for $50. We add new ornaments daily; Look for our famous dumpster fire ornaments on the tree starting Monday, Dec. 12.

    • A limited selection of handmade earrings and necklaces are also available for purchase and located next to the tree.

    • All ornament and jewelry purchases can be made via Venmo: @TerracottaPullman

This weekend’s hours for pottery pick-ups, ready-made purchases, and drop-in glazing if you have a great Dad Joke to share and/or bring Candace sunflowers:

  • Friday: 4-8 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

  • Sunday: 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.

  • Monday 12/12: 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday 12/13 9-11 a.m.; 4-8 p.m.

  • Wednesday 9-11 a.m.; 4-8 p.m.

  • Thursday 9-11 a.m.; 4-8 p.m.

No Dad jokes or sunflowers? All Glaze Day appointments must be made in advance. Good news! We disabled the password, so you can just book your time now. See you in the studio 😁

We are so, so, so grateful for your enthusiastic and kind support, friends. A year ago, could you have believed we would have a pottery studio in downtown Pullman? Thank you for helping make this happen. We hope your holidays are as warm and bright as you’ve made ours.

Keep kiln’ it,

--The Terracotta Team

P.S.: Help us get a hot water heater this winter—and get a 10% discount until Dec. 15 when you buy a gift card or book a workshop: ThankYouForWarmWater10
